United States Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps
Juniors' Workshop

October 22nd, 2016!

The United States Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps is excited to announce this year's Juniors' Workshop! This has always been an exciting event for us to host, and this year's workshop is filled with great educational and performance opportunities. Participants will be able to choose their own schedule from a variety of fun and exciting classes.

Workshop Information:

  • The e-mail address you provided at registration can be used to log-in and view/print your tickets anytime after you have completed registration. Go to eventbrite.com for more information.
  • A registration summary was e-mailed to you upon completion of registration. It contains your ticket(s) to the Workshop. You will need to print these tickets and bring them with you to Check-In on October 22nd.
  • Lunch will be on your own. Participants are responsible for traveling to and from their chosen lunch destination. There are several restaurants both on-post at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall and off-post nearby. Plenty of time will be allowed between the AM and PM sessions for lunch and area maps with suggestions will be provided.
  • Attendees will also be responsible for getting from one class session to the next throughout the day. (They will no longer be traveling with their ability groups as they had in past years.) All buildings are within a short 5 minute walk of the Fife and Drum Corps building. Each participant will have a map and instructors will be available to help. Parents are welcome to attend any and all activities and assist their participants in traveling to and from classes.
  • Participants do not need to choose their skill level at registration this year. All classes will be available to all participants. Participants can choose which classes to attend and build a schedule to fit their interests. Class schedule and descriptions are available in the Workshop Information Packet below.
  • Participants are responsible for bringing their own instrument and related equipment, including fife, drum, drum sticks, marching drum sling, etc.
