| Beginning in February 2010, The Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps will begin a year long celebration marking 50 years of dedicated service to the United States Army and Nation. First organized in 1960 to support ceremonial functions of the 3d United States Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) and to revive our country's musical heritage, The Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps has grown to become one of our Armed Service's most treasured units. Their music, uniforms, and drill transports spectators back to an era when the freedoms that we as American citizens enjoy today were being forged.
Today, The Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps represents the pride, professionalism, and patriotism of America's Army throughout the world. As we embark on our anniversary journey, we invite you to join us at one of the many events we will be hosting or appearing at to help celebrate America's Fife and Drum Corps!
